Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance I on second shift for the Reed City, MI facility. The role involves preventive maintenance, lubrication, part replacement, and basic installation duties within a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot production equipment with guidance from experienced technicians, develop knowledge of mechanical systems, and document work performed. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–10 years of maintenance experience preferred, including apprentice time.
• Ability to read measuring devices and use basic hand/power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance by lubricating machinery and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment under supervision.
• Install or relocate production equipment and related facilities.
• Document work performed and findings accurately.
