Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team at Lexington Premier Nursing and Rehab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds to maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility's systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and maintain, clean, and repair carpets to ensure high-quality appearance and longevity.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems, addressing and resolving problems promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure that all maintenance work complies with relevant safety regulations and facility policies, performing safety checks and addressing any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, including after-hours calls, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on resident safety and comfort.
- Assist with the coordination of external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or services, ensuring that all work performed meets facility standards and requirements.
- Oversee the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly stored.
- Assist with general facility maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and minor construction projects, supporting other departments as needed.
- Collaborate with facility management and staff to identify and address maintenance needs, providing clear and timely communication regarding the status of maintenance requests and repairs.

Work Environment
