SURGE Staffing is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing (Night Shift) to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment. This role performs routine maintenance, troubleshoots equipment issues, and completes repairs to keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently.

Training on first shift is provided for about one month before transitioning to the regular night shift.

Pay Rate: $21.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift: Thursday–Saturday, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Training Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, on first shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs to keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, hands-on repair experience, and an interest in developing a career in industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, working with tools, and helping minimize equipment downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates will begin with first-shift training to learn the equipment, maintenance procedures, and responsibilities of the role. Training typically lasts about one month, depending on how comfortable the candidate becomes in the position, before transitioning to the regular night-shift schedule.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.

• Willingness to complete first-shift training before transitioning to the regular night shift.
