Rite-Hite, a global leader in loading dock and door equipment, seeks a Maintenance Technician to assist in routine maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment, facilities, and machinery to keep operations safe and efficient. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with little to no experience who are eager to learn in a hands-on environment and grow with the company.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Strong interest in learning maintenance procedures and systems.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Perform minor repairs on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC units under supervision.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and report more complex problems to senior technicians.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing maintenance tools and equipment.
• Help maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in training programs and gain knowledge in various maintenance systems and practices.
