Job summary

The Las Olas Company / Riverside Hotel is seeking an Engineer I to perform maintenance and general support for team members. The role involves repairing and maintaining the property’s physical assets and assisting the Chief Engineer with daily tasks at the Seven Isles property.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, maintaining tools, handling chemicals per hotel requirements, and ensuring policy compliance. The position requires physical capability and reliance on consistent teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one (1) of the categories listed below in the Attachment ‘A’ plus general knowledge of one (1) other category.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments from Chief Engineer and review priorities and special projects.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments.
• Maintain for the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
• Handle chemicals according to hotel requirements.
• Ensure security of any assigned keys and beeper.
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
• Complete all paperwork and closing duties before leaving and review status of assignments and any follow-up with Chief Engineer.
• Assist with any special projects assigned.
• Other duties assigned
