Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is looking for a Machine Technician 1 to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity in a fast-paced shop environment. This entry-level role supports the maintenance team and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

You should have a high school diploma, a technical certificate preferred, and 1–2 years in maintenance or a technical field.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Automation preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of maintenance/technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Follow 5S and housekeeping practices in the work area.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment including automated operations and sensors.
• Document inspections and maintenance actions.
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve processes and quality.
