Job summary

ADVANCED METAL PRODUCTS in West Bountiful, Utah is seeking a machine operator to join our production team. You will follow detailed instructions, mold, trim, and inspect parts to ensure they meet customer requirements, and use measuring tools to verify quality.

The position requires good vision, fine motor skills, and the ability to sit for long periods while maintaining accuracy. Overtime may be required to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Following detailed instruction, processes, and procedures to correctly produce parts
• Mold, trim, inspect parts to meet customer requirements
• Able to detect defective parts
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or material to supervisor
• Measuring, gaging, and inspecting parts
• Use a calibrator to gage parts
• Ensure work area is kept clean and free of debris
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Have exceptional attendance (be to work on time, and take breaks at allotted times)
• Must be a team player
