Job summary

California Screw Products seeks an entry-level Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate production machinery, load and unload parts, and perform basic inspections using micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions.

You will follow work instructions and production documentation, maintain clean work areas, and help meet production and quality goals in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience required beyond basic measurement skills; hands-on training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience using micrometers and calipers is required.
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic dimensional inspections.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery in accordance with work instructions and safety requirements.
• Load and unload parts and materials from assigned machines.
• Perform basic inspections of manufactured parts.
• Use micrometers and calipers to accurately measure parts and verify dimensions.
• Identify and report parts that are outside specification.
• Read and follow basic work instructions, routers, and production documentation.
