WILL TRAIN entry level Machine Operator to set up and operate production machinery. The training will include how to read blue prints, and how to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices. This on the job training is a good way to learn a trade that can prepare employees for a successful future as a machinist. Written on the job training programs have been developed with pay increases offered as skill levels are reached.

Responsibilities

• Follow all (Company) safety policies
• Check and maintain fluid levels of the equipment/machine
• Safe-correct-efficient operation of machine being ran or process being performed
• Inspect parts visually and with measuring tools
• Set up machines to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. size and speed) when necessary
• Maintain activity logs (production sheets)
