Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to set up and run extrusion line.
• Gather items like cores and packaging materials for production.
• Unload finish rolls from machine using proper equipment.
• Weigh, record quality & production data.
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
• Build, complete and move finished skids to shipping area.
• Prepare machine for the next roll.
• Complete timely quality control checks.
• Assist in equipment or line adjustments.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Alert supervisor of any problems on the line.
• Other tasks as assigned.

We are actively recruiting for an Entry Level Machine Operator to join a dynamic team at General Films Inc. in Covington OH. We are a family owned and operated business that has been around for over 70 years. Come be a part of a well-established and respected organization.

The successful associate will be capable of learning to operate an extrusion machine to manufacture blown film. This includes machine set up and operation, performing quality checks, and packaging finished product.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to set up and run extrusion line
• Gather items such as new cores, packaging materials, skids, etc. for daily production operation
• Unload finish rolls from machine using proper lifting equipment
• Weigh, record quality & production data and load onto skid
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
• Build & complete skid by banding, labeling and moving finishedskids to shipping area
• Prep machine for next roll by setting up new cores for film transfer
• Complete timely quality control checks
• Assist in equipment or line adjustments
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Alert supervisor of any problems on the line
• Other tasks as assigned
