Job summary

Magnaflow in Oceanside, CA seeks a Manufacturing Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain production equipment for premium automotive exhaust components. You will follow 5S standards, read drawings and production documents, perform minor changeovers, and help ensure products meet quality specifications.

The role requires OSHA awareness, attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training may be preferred on some roles.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not always required.
On-the-job training may be provided.
Must read drawings and manufacturing documents.
Attention to detail and safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and tend equipment such as bending, deburring, cutting, packaging, test equipment.
Perform minor changeovers, setting adjustments, and troubleshooting.
Ensure product accuracy using approved measurement devices before release to next step.
Care for and maintain machines; keep work area clean and safe (5S).
Document counts and contents; identify contents clearly.
Double-check quantities and maintain quality standards.
Adapt to new automation methods and nonconventional practices.
Inspect parts for quality and fit with measurement devices.
Perform other duties as required.
