Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Elizabethtown, KY, is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician. You’ll join a friendly, collaborative team and help keep guests safe on the road by delivering top-tier customer service while performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Through our award-winning training program, you’ll learn oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, light/wiper inspections, and more.

Qualifications

• Schedule flexibility with weekend availability as needed.
• Eagerness to learn, friendly attitude, and teamwork focus.
• Ability to review and understand training materials, safety procedures, and instructions.
• English reading/writing/speaking fluency.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and perform preventive maintenance services.
• Learn to change oil, check/refill fluids, rotate tires, test batteries, inspect lights/wipers, and complete an 18-point maintenance check.

What you’ll do to drive successWhen you join us as an Entry-Level Lube Technician, your personal and professional goals will be fueled by a friendly and collaborative team environment. Together, we’ll help keep our guests safe on the road by providing top-tier customer service, while performing preventative maintenance services for their vehicles.

Your road to VIOC doesn’t require previous automotive experience. Through our award-winning training program, we’ll teach you how to:Change oilCheck and refill fluidsRotate tiresTest and replace batteriesInspect and replace lights and wipersPerform an 18-point maintenance checkAnd other preventive maintenance services

Qualifications

• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays)

• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions


• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
