Top Notch Logworks in Gypsum, CO is seeking a dependable Log Construction Laborer for full‑time residential work on log and timber structures. You’ll assist seasoned crews with fabrication, installation of decks, railings, and stairs, and help move materials safely at job sites.

Ideal candidates show a strong work ethic, are open to learning, and can read basic blueprints. No prior expertise required, but basic carpentry is a plus, along with a clean driving record and Spanish/English bilingual

Qualifications

• Reliable and willing to work a full‑time schedule.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
• Willingness to learn log, timber, and custom wood construction.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely around tools, equipment, and materials.
• Spanish/English bilingual communication skills are a plus.
• References required.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced crew members with the fabrication and installation of log and timber structures.
• Help build and install decks, railings, stairs, and other custom wood components.
• Move and position materials and logs safely around the job site.
• Use hand and power tools as directed and learn proper tool selection and operation.
• Assist with job-site layout and preparation.
• Follow project plans, crew instructions, and established work procedures.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area throughout the day.
• Load, unload, organize, and care for tools and materials.
• Work with the crew to complete projects efficiently and according to quality standards.
• Take direction from crew leads and communicate when questions or problems arise.
• Help protect customer property and maintain a professional job site.
• Take basic job-site photos and assist with other project documentation when needed.
• Learn new construction techniques and take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop.
