Job summary

Burton Lumber is hiring multiple full-time team members for its residential deck framing crew. We seek dependable, hardworking people with a basic understanding of carpentry or construction, and are willing to train the right candidates.

The role involves shop work and building decks at residential sites throughout the valley, year-round. Starting pay is $20+ per hour, with full-time hours and benefits including health and dental insurance, a 401(k), company-provided tools, and a company vehicle

We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals with a basic understanding of carpentry or construction. Previous framing or construction experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right people.

Our team works year-round, preparing materials in our shop and building decks at residential job sites throughout the valley.

What You'll Do

• Build and frame residential decks
• Prepare and assemble materials in our shop
• Travel to residential job sites throughout the valley
• Use hand and power tools for construction and framing
• Follow plans, measurements, and job specifications
• Work as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For

• Basic understanding of carpentry or construction
• Previous framing or construction experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Your own tool bag is preferred, but company tools are provided
