Evolved Lighting & Energy is a growing lighting design and installation company based out of Columbus, Ohio. We currently have openings for hardworking and reliable Technicians within our company.

We service commercial, industrial, and municipal customers throughout the state of Ohio and Midwest! Join our team to perform LED retrofits, install occupancy sensors and building controls, and support energy-efficient lighting projects across the region.

Qualifications

• Valid State Issued Driver’s License required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• 6 months+ experience with hand and power tools.
• Experience installing lighting fixtures, motion-activated occupancy sensors, and building controls preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and organization.
• Ability to identify and understand wire connectors, couplings, and adapters.
• Ability to identify wire types and coverings.
• Available to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts for a full 40-hour week.
• Flexible to work weekly day, night, or overnight shifts.
• Willing to travel to surrounding counties in Ohio for weekly shifts (not a travel job).
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Retrofit existing light fixtures with new LED technology
• Remove existing interior/exterior fixtures and install new LED fixtures
• Install motion-activated occupancy sensors and building controls
• Install LED tube retrofits and ballast bypass
• Load and unload company vehicles with materials and equipment for job site
• Complete general maintenance of Trucks and Equipment
• Housekeeping—Ensuring jobsites are free and clear of debris each shift
• Perform other tasks as needed
