Job summary

Wave Aquatics is hiring Lifeguards for the Juanita Aquatics Center in Kirkland, WA. Positions available as part-time or full-time, non-exempt; certification training is provided prior to employment.

Candidates must be at least 16 and able to obtain ARC Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR certification, with flexible availability including nights and weekends. Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, ensuring guest safety, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.
• Ability to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR certification prior to start (course provided).
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong swimming ability and water safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication with guests of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent guest service and respond to emergencies.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and daily safety checks.
• Report concerns to Pool Directors and follow Emergency Action Plans.
• Attend trainings and maintain equipment and facility cleanliness.
