Job summary

Phoenix Metals Company is seeking a hands-on operator for laser processing and basic production tasks in our plant. You will review specifications, set up laser equipment, and handle pieces for processing, while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Candidate should have basic math and measurement skills, strong dexterity, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Experience with metalworking machinery is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform basic production activities on laser machines.
• Review blue prints and work orders to understand machining characteristics.
• Set up laser cutting unit with correct nozzles, speeds and feeds.
• Position work pieces and operate machines per workload requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and scales.
• Maintain equipment and document work orders and material handling.
