Briggs & Stratton in Utica, NY seeks a laser manufacturing operator to set up and run laser equipment, maintain production schedules, and ensure safety and quality. You will perform part changeovers, inspect parts against blueprints, and coordinate with the team to meet daily goals.

The role requires a High School diploma and less than one year of manufacturing experience, with physical ability to handle 25–50 lb materials and stand for long shifts.

Qualificações

• Fluent English required; primary language for the location.
• Experience with basic equipment programming and blueprint replication.
• Ability to detect part defects and follow SOPs for safety and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain production schedules and modify equipment programs to meet daily manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate shift handoffs and perform routine laser maintenance including nozzle adjustments and consumables.
• Operate unloading tables to sort, treat, and edge parts.
• Conduct inspections using blueprints to ensure quality and conformity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
