Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a motivated Landscaper I to join our maintenance crew. You will support commercial, industrial, and public properties under a Crew Leader, performing routine landscape tasks and assisting with equipment operation.

Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for higher compensation based on experience, certifications, and demonstrated skills. You will work outdoors in varying weather, follow safety procedures, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Certified Level I equipment operation (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Basic knowledge of horticultural and landscape maintenance practices preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Mow turf with commercial-grade mowers.
• Perform trimming and edging with gas-powered tools.
• Safely operate landscape equipment.
• Prune shrubs and small trees to improve appearance and health.
• Plant and maintain flower beds and landscape plantings.
• Edge and trim around features and buildings.
• Remove litter and debris from properties.
• Mulch leaves and organic material as needed.
• Perform weed control by hand.
• Conduct basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Remove dead plants and debris as directed.
• Safely perform snow removal under supervision.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards.
