Job summary

Southern Landscape Group, Inc. is looking for entry-level Team Members to support mowing, landscape care, and installation tasks in Central Virginia. You will learn safety procedures, equipment operation, and job standards while joining a collaborative team.

Initially you will receive hands-on training and guidance from experienced staff, with opportunities to progress into mowing, maintenance, or hardscape roles as you gain skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn safety procedures and company standards.
• Ability to operate and learn basic landscape equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review daily job assignments with the Team Leader.
• Assist mowing and landscape maintenance tasks.
• Assist with landscape installation and hardscape prep.
• Operate basic landscape equipment after training.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Observe properties and report concerns to the Team Leader.
• Support schedule, quality, safety, and customer service goals.
