Wheelhouse Land & Field Services is seeking a motivated, entry-level Land Agent to join our team for community solar projects in central Illinois.

About This Opportunity

Are you hungry to launch a career in renewable energy? This is a unique opportunity to learn land acquisition from the ground up with hands‑on mentorship from one of our most experienced agents. You'll start by shadowing a seasoned professional for 2–4 weeks, learning how to engage landowners, negotiate lease agreements, and secure property rights for community solar development. After training, you'll transition to independent fieldwork, building relationships and closing deals that directly contribute to clean energy expansion.

What You'll Do

• Conduct outreach to landowners in central Illinois communities
• Negotiate and secure lease agreements for community solar project sites
• Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, local stakeholders, and project partners
