Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring entry-level production workers at our Oroville, California sawmill. You will learn and perform tasks across several stations, including loading, stacking lumber, and maintaining clean work areas.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related work experience as a prerequisite.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated reliability and attendance are required.

About The Position

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative manufacturing facility
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent related work experience
• Excellent verifiable work references and attendance record
• Demonstrated ability to be highly productive in repetitious work
• All applicants must be at least age 18
