Texas Southern University is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support the food safety quality and operations teams with routine analytical testing and documentation.

No bachelor’s degree is required. You will complete a background check, drug test, and medical questionnaire, and work Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 3:30 PM CST, performing instrument calibrations and routine analyses under supervision.

Qualifications

• Performs routine analytical and laboratory testing to support food safety quality and operational teams.
• Documents results into databases and communicates findings to internal customers.

Responsabilités

• Complete routine analytical and laboratory testing.
• Monitor instrumentation performance and perform tests under intermediate supervision.
• Document results and interpret data for databases and reports.
• Calibrate checks and preventive maintenance on analytical instrumentation.
