Job summary

TES Staffing is partnering with an established environmental testing laboratory in Henrietta, NY, to hire an Entry-Level Laboratory Technician. This contract-to-hire, full-time role offers hands-on training and exposure to EPA methods with no extensive experience required.

You'll prepare samples, label and organize data, maintain a clean workspace, and learn laboratory software while joining a supportive team with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental samples for laboratory analysis following established procedures and EPA testing methods.
• Accurately label, organize, and process samples for testing.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace.
• Learn and use laboratory software to document and track samples.
• Follow detailed procedures to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Support the laboratory team with additional projects as needed.
