Job summary

Millennium Health LLC in Rancho Bernardo, CA is seeking an entry-level Lab Specimen Processor to prepare urine and oral fluid specimens for analysis. You will handle receiving, sorting, aliquoting, centrifugation, and racking in a fast-paced lab.

Responsibilities include data entry of testing and patient information, labeling specimens, maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance, and helping keep the lab clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data entry in a laboratory or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to follow HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Specimen receiving, sorting and bag opening.
• Data entry of required testing, patient information, and insurance requirements.
• Identify, label, and document urine and oral fluid specimens.
• Prepare specimens for analysis: Aliquot, centrifuge, batching and racking.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and equipment.
• Adhere to safety and compliance policies.
