Norton Healthcare, Inc. seeks a dedicated clinical support staff member to admit patients, process specimens in the LIS, and perform phlebotomy with strict adherence to labeling and patient identification procedures.

Responsibilities include delivering specimens to appropriate lab areas, communicating results to physicians, and performing waived or moderately complex testing as approved by the Medical Director.

Formación

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• One year in a clinical laboratory (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilidades

• Admit patients and process specimens in LIS; ensure proper patient identification and labeling.
• Label, deliver, and store specimens; communicate test results to physicians as requested.
• Perform phlebotomy and basic testing as needed and approved by Medical Director; adhere to infection control guidelines.
