Job summary

DNA Diagnostics Center in Fairfield, OH is seeking a Lab Accessioner to move DNA testing cases from receipt to final reporting. No prior lab experience required; training provided.

This full-time, Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in healthcare, laboratory operations, compliance, and case management in a high-volume laboratory. You'll develop data entry and documentation skills, learn confidentiality requirements, and work with a supportive

What You'll Do

As a Lab Accessioner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring DNA testing cases move smoothly from sample receipt through final reporting. Your day may include:

Qualifications

Previous laboratory experience is not required. We will train the right candidate.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Manual dexterity to handle, label, and file samples and paperwork.
• Standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling to accomplish tasks and transport samples from accessioning area to laboratory.
