Job summary

DNA Diagnostics Center in Fairfield, OH is seeking an entry-level Lab Accessioner to join a high-volume DNA testing laboratory. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule 9:00am–5:30pm with opportunities to learn healthcare, laboratory operations, and compliance in a stable Cincinnati-area employer.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, and comfortable with data entry and office software. No prior lab experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing incoming sample packages.
• Reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Entering client information into our laboratory systems.

What You'll Do

As a Lab Accessioner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring DNA testing cases move smoothly from sample receipt through final reporting. Your day may include:

• Receiving and processing incoming sample packages
• Reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Entering client information into our laboratory systems
• Tracking the progress of cases from start to finish
• Preparing reports and case-related documents
• Scanning and filing paperwork
• Maintaining confidential information and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Previous laboratory experience is not required. We will train the right candidate.

Minimum Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
• Manual dexterity to handle, label, and file samples and paperwork.
• Standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling to accomplish tasks and transport samples from accessioning area to laboratory.
