Job summary

GLS is hiring an IT Security Analyst as part of its campus recruiting program for May 2027. The role focuses on maintaining security infrastructure and strategy across enterprise systems, with emphasis on incident communication, threat intelligence, and risk assessment.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is required for external candidates, and SQL/Python skills are preferred. The position is exempt, typically Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm, with potential overtime and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for external candidates.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of enterprise systems by anticipating and mitigating attacks.
• Evaluate processes and procedures to reduce information security breach risk.
• Maintain information security processes and solutions.
• Support onboarding of new IT Security professionals with knowledge sharing and training.
• Research and advocate for new security products to meet enterprise security requirements.
• Review security infrastructure for capacity, growth, and high availability planning.
• Communicate security incidents and risks to IT and business staff.
• Monitor threat intelligence to stay current on emerging threats.
