Job summary

An Island in Tell City, IN is seeking a Junior Engineer - IT Services to support and optimize core network services, devices, and communications systems. The role reports to the Director - Business Operations and works with seasoned team members on testing, diagnosis, and resolution of outages.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, documentation, configuring devices, telephony provisioning, server support, and user desktop assistance, with some travel as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in computing or information technology.
• Experience as a Network Administrator in a medium to large enterprise preferable.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to resolve issues and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose network issues and provide support for internal and external customers.
• Update and maintain network documentation; assign IP addresses and save device configurations.
• Configure network devices for new deployments per direction of senior staff; replace devices from backups.
• Assist with administration and maintenance of IP-based telephony systems and extensions.
• Support network servers, cloud servers, and customer servers.
• Assist with desktop issues, software installation, email access, and backups.
• Engage in day-to-day operational tasks: monitoring performance, incident management, security, and recovery.
