SMC Corporation is seeking a dedicated Cycle Count professional to perform both physical and systemic inventory tasks in our Indiana facility. You will follow established procedures and contribute to accurate product identification and location control.

The role includes counting and auditing inventories, reconciling discrepancies, and executing workflows in SMC ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• No prior experience needed.
• Available to work overtime on weekdays/weekends as needed (multiple day time schedules are available).
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Work in a team environment for an increased productivity and quality.
• Communication: Must be able to read/write/speak and understand English. Must be able to effectively communicate.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and controlling inventory practices to ensure accuracy while maintaining product identification and location.
• Supervising the counting of inventory, ensuring data accuracy, and reconciling discrepancies
• Performing audits and counting physical inventory routinely
• Execute basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systems for Material Handler and Cycle Count
• Report inventory discrepancies and identify root cause to management within the established processes.
• Perform transactions as required to maintain accuracy of product in location
• Proficiency in essential job functions for Cycle Count according to the Job Function Performance Key
• In this role, you will complete all other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
