Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations. The role involves cycle counts, stocking, verifying part numbers, and recording transactions in our systems.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in inventory control, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Oracle Fusion experience and forklift certification are a plus; independent and team-oriented work is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or related operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling part numbers and counts.
• Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Oracle or Oracle Fusion is a plus.
• Forklift experience/certification strongly preferred; training and certification can be provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Receive, verify, and stock inbound materials into correct locations.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and locations against system records.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and update system records as needed.
• Record all inventory transactions accurately in Oracle Fusion and related systems.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled inventory locations.
• Support stocking activities across all areas, including the verification and put-away of repaired equipment.
