Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking an assistant to support invasive radiology care providers with patient care and delegated procedures. You will check and restock supplies, move and prepare equipment, and clean and return items to storage after use.

Under the supervision of an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will help maintain a clean, safe environment and participate in case end-of-case cleaning in the procedure rooms.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Prefer healthcare experience
• Prefer related healthcare certification
• Prefer demonstrated ability to follow written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist invasive radiology care providers with patient care and delegated procedures.
• Check and restock supplies; move medical equipment; prepare equipment for use; and clean and return equipment to storage locations after use.
• Perform between case/end-of-case cleaning in procedure rooms; maintain a clean, safe environment under the supervision of an Interventional Radiologic Technologist.
