Job summary

MaineHealth’s Maine Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist I to assist in routine diagnostic and advanced invasive neuro and peripheral interventions. The role requires competence across procedures for oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology and nephrology, with adherence to established protocols guiding diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year program of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist through the state of Maine; ARRT Radiography certification.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of acute care imaging experience OR one year of advanced modality imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine diagnostic and highly complex invasive neuro and peripheral interventions.
• Be competent in a wide variety of procedures referred by oncology, trauma, urology, gastroenterology and nephrology.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines for use by providers in diagnosis and treatment.
