Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration; or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Background check and legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, auditing theories, and public administration practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand federal requirements and state policies to audit compliance and document results.
• Plan, schedule and conduct audits of financial statements for regulatory compliance and GAAP.
• Perform operational audits to verify policy adherence and internal controls.
• Review financial records and controls, identify deficiencies, and advise on corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to management with recommendations.
