Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Interior Designer for the Tulsa, OK office. You’ll support design teams on projects and translate concepts into drawings under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a Design degree and basic proficiency in REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office, with an eagerness to grow technical skills and contribute to public and commercial spaces. You’ll collaborate with architects and project teams, participate in design development, and learn Dewberry's approach to

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from an accredited university required
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Strong design skills and a desire to develop technical expertise
  • Proficient in REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
  • Rendering abilities and graphic experience a plus
  • Preferably LEED AP and knowledge of sustainable design principles
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass background checks

Responsibilities

A designerworks under supervision of the Project Architect, Project Designer, and/or Project Manager.The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a keen ability to translate design intent into drawings. An ability to communicate (written and verbal) and collaborate is paramount. Qualified candidates should possess strong organizational skills, an ability to formulate, research and ask pertinent questions, and the initiative to take on design or technical challenges. Working as part of a small team, the Designer will have exposure to the full designprocess.
