Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational training.
• Exposure to software development projects.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and programming principles.
• Exposure to Agile delivery; Kanban; Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying potential solutions that leverage COTS systems when possible.
• Participate in creation of Technical Design documents under supervision.
• Collaborate with Senior Programmers to plan coding and overall development.
• Translate specs to code meeting performance requirements.
• Modify existing software to fix errors or upgrade interfaces, under supervision.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software with supervision.
• Participate in system testing as required.
• Develop system documentation for routine problems and smaller scope tasks.
• Support deployment activities and follow production support processes.
• Maintain ability to flex to meet customer demands (production support and project work).
• Provide on-call support for routine problems and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
