Job summary

HouseSmart Construction is hiring an Installer I to help set up manufactured homes safely and efficiently. You will work with the Crew Chief to perform a range of construction tasks, with on-the-job training to develop required technical skills.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, teamwork, and a positive attitude, with opportunities for growth as you gain experience in a new division within Clayton.

Qualifications

• General construction experience.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Proficient with power tools.
• Comfortable with heights and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up manufactured homes with the Crew Chief and team.
• Independently complete various construction tasks such as installing vapor barriers and learning to level, bolt, and anchor floors and walls.
• Assist with basic masonry, electrical and plumbing crossovers, bonding wires, and repair of bottom boards.
• Learn and develop new technical skills in a collaborative team environment.
