Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Inspector to be based in Rocky Hill, CT, with an on-site work model. The role focuses on monitoring quality conformance, performing daily field inspections, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.

Ideal candidates include those with a high school diploma and a driver’s license; a related Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The position requires flexibility for project schedules and may involve travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• US Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; performance of Motor Vehicle Records review may apply.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in a related field preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed for projects, including overnight work.
• Previous roadway/transportation-related construction and/or inspection experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

AECOMis seeking an Entry-Level Inspector to be based inRocky Hill, CT.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
• Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
• Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
• Tracks quality assurance progress.
• Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
• Entry-level position, previous experience may not be required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• US Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

PreferredQualifications:

• Bachelor of ScienceDegree in a related field.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed for projects, including overnight work.
• Previous roadway / transportation-related construction and/or inspection experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
