Job Overview

Wipro Givon USA offers an entry level Inspector role responsible for first‑article and final assembly inspections of machined and sheet metal parts and assemblies, as well as receipt inspection of purchase complete, standards, and raw materials.

Qualifications
  • Ability to use and interpret aircraft drawings, specifications, and blueprints.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform first part, in‑process, first article, and final inspections using surface plates, CMMs, calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools.
  • Conduct receipt inspections of raw material, purchase complete, standards, and hardware using hardness testers, electrical conductivity testers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface testers.
  • Process non‑conformance and defective material reports, including computer system entries, paperwork, and part flow.
  • Verify functional testing of assembled components.
  • Review completed work orders, product documentation, and data to ensure accuracy and legibility.
  • Ensure material traceability, processing certification, and assembly/testing meet internal and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and present written reports on inspection findings.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, process specifications, schematics, blueprints, test procedures or formulas to verify compliance.
  • Use online data systems to verify customer data, specifications, work‑in‑progress status, and data entry.
  • Recommend modifications to existing quality or production methods to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Maintain quality records and files.
  • Participate in quality audits and surveillance by internal audit teams or customer representatives.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet commitments.
  • Meet established standards for productivity and quality, consulting supervisors when problems arise.
  • Perform any tasks required to support customer requirements and company goals.
Physical Requirements

Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds. Sit or stand up to 10 hours, with occasional walking, climbing, and balance. Must be able to bend, twist, squat, stoop, and kneel; use fingers to grasp, move, handle, or feel; reach, push, or pull with hands and arms. Perform repetitive hand and arm motions. Converse, hear, and read. Requires close and distance vision with ability to adjust focus.

Environmental Conditions

Work around fumes, odors, dust, and moderate to high noise levels requiring safety glasses, earplugs, and other protective equipment.
