GardenCore is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support a mulch, soil, and rock production facility. The role involves hands-on mechanical tasks, equipment inspections, and basic electrical work under supervision.

You will learn through on-the-job training and contribute to safe, efficient operations year-round. The position requires reliability, a willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and teamwork in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical experience with maintenance tasks such as changing parts, inspecting equipment, and using hand/power tools.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols in an industrial setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in outdoor/dusty environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Assist senior maintenance with inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on automation lines.
• Support production equipment used for mulch, soil, and rock products for major retail distribution.
• Troubleshoot issues and report mechanical problems; use tools safely.
• Install, adjust, and repair equipment and components; operate hoists/cranes as needed.
