Job summary

Virtue America is seeking an Entry-Level Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a regulated Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences environment. You will focus on workflow efficiency, asset utilization, and production reliability while adhering to cGMP, quality, and safety standards.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to analyze data, map processes, and implement standard work improvements through Lean initiatives and Kaizen

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Evaluate manufacturing workflows and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Assist with capacity planning and production scheduling.
Develop and optimize process flows to reduce bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Conduct basic time studies and collect production data to evaluate cycle times.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve day-to-day operations.
Collect and analyze performance metrics such as throughput and downtime.
Participate in Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support root cause investigations and update standard work instructions.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, SOPs and safety requirements.
