Job summary

Buzz ABA in Amherst, NH is hiring dependable, energetic people to work one-on-one with children with autism as Behavior Technicians during the afternoon hours, Monday through Friday. No ABA or behavioral health experience is required and we will teach you ABA-specific skills to succeed.

You will help children develop communication, social, play, independence, and daily-living skills in a structured setting, under supervision, in person at the location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate professionally and reliably.
• Ability to complete required employment and background screening.
• Ability to consistently work scheduled afternoon sessions.
• Comfortable working directly and actively with children.
• No ABA or behavioral health experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding to promote independence and skill development.
• Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to track progress and inform treatment plans.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under supervision.
• Support teaching and reinforcement of social, communication, and functional skills tailored to each child's needs.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Support the implementation of care plans for children with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
