Job summary

Aquatech in Hartland, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Applications Engineer to join our team in person. The role is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, based in our Hartland office.

You will engage with clients to define process performance needs, design evaporation and crystallization processes, prepare proposals and cost estimates, and support business development with technical content. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Experience with process design and mass/energy balances is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs.
• Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology.
• Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance.
• Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope.
• Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert.
• Create and deliver technical content to support business development initiatives.
• Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation.
• Complete engineering activities, including heat & material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing, and plant layout.
• Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
