Job summary

CST Utilities is seeking a HydroVac Laborer to support daily operations of a HydroVac crew. The role involves digging, cleanup and safe operation around utilities in outdoor settings. It is physically demanding and requires reliable attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. On-the-job training is provided; overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided for utilities/ construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating HydroVac trucks for daylighting, trenching and potholing.
• Safely handle vacuum and water hose systems during excavation.
• Work in outdoor environments with exposure to weather, noise and confined spaces.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE; support pre/post-trip inspections.
• Set up job sites with cones, signs and safety barriers; load/unload materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete basic paperwork.
