UES, Inc. is seeking an entry-level hydrogeology support specialist to assist in field data collection and data management. You will support groundwater and surface water monitoring, perform basic aquifer analyses, and help with well installation under supervision.

The role involves environmental sampling, field measurements, and collaboration with engineers, scientists, planners, and legal professionals on diverse projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in hydrogeology, geology or related field is required.
• 1+ years of hydrogeologic or environmental consulting experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of groundwater and surface water monitoring methods is expected.
• Familiarity with field instrumentation and data collection techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to perform fieldwork in varying environmental conditions and climates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field data collection and organize hydrogeologic datasets.
• Support groundwater level monitoring and basic aquifer analyses.
• Assist with well installation, drilling oversight, and pumping tests.
• Conduct baseline hydrology monitoring of groundwater and surface water.
• Record field measurements and support technical reporting.
