The Tarrant Regional Water District seeks an Engineer I to support the District's Engineering Department. This entry-level role focuses on data collection, routine analysis, and preparing drawings using CAD or GIS.

You will work under supervision to learn standards and infrastructure operations. Responsibilities include researching project information, coordinating with technicians and staff, and documenting meeting minutes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) desirable.
• Valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis for projects under supervision.
• Prepare CAD/GIS drawings and visual aids for project analysis.
• Coordinate with technicians and administrative staff to gather information.
• Observe district operations at facilities and during construction activities.
• Monitor flood levels and report reservoir/stream data; assist Flood Team Lead.
