Job summary

Cool Techs Heating and Air is seeking a skilled residential HVAC installer to join our family‑owned team in Winchester, VA. You will install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment, following plans and local codes to ensure safe, quality installations.

You should have at least one year of installation experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• One year of residential HVAC installation experience preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment, duct layouts, system layouts and blueprints required.
• Willingness to learn and strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and related equipment.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and system layouts to support safe, code‑compliant installations.
• Help complete installation projects accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Test newly installed equipment and assist with adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Coordinate with lead installers and other team members throughout each project.
• Protect customers' homes and maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Communicate professionally and help create a positive customer experience.
• Properly maintain and organize company tools, equipment, and materials.

What You'll Be Doing
