Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, with preference for hospital or customer service experience, and must obtain BLS, DPCT/CHSO training, and driving record checks within set timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous hospital, customer service, or general work experience preferred.
• Requires ability to read, write, speak, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Performs internal and external foot and/or vehicular patrols per SOPs and maintains a safe environment.
• Responds to calls for service promptly as dispatched or initiated, following SOPs with urgency and professionalism.
• Deescalates combative, unruly or intoxicated individuals using appropriate methods to achieve a desired outcome.
• Maintains situational awareness and addresses safety concerns in a timely manner.
• Provides timely information to Security Control Center and completes incident reports accurately.
• Regular attendance is considered essential.
• Performs physical requirements as described in the Physical Requirements section.
