Job summary

Ambercare in New Mexico is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. This entry-level role offers flexible hours, part-time options, and a starting pay of $18 per hour with select positions eligible for daily pay.

As an Ambercare Certified Nurse Aide, you will assist with personal care, medications reminders, and light housekeeping while ensuring a safe, compassionate environment for clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist therapy exercises under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
• Assist or perform personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment through light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and stimulation for the client and accompany to appointments.
• Observe and report changes in client's condition.
• Turn or reposition patients who are bedridden.
• Examine patient for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds.
